03/09/2022 - What happened?
Went there a year ago, and the food was great, the portions were decent, and the price was right.
Went back today and the prices are up 30% and the portions are don't down by about 30%. Why in the world would I pay $16 for 2 pieces of fried chicken, and tiny portions of veggies ( And I mean tiny. These didn't even meet an appetizer size portion. Think 2 ounce cups)? It looks like some family member has come in and decided that they should get greedy, just as money has gotten tighter and tighter and inflation is through the roof. I get price increases, but this is ridiculous. Sadly, I won't be going back.

02/16/2009 - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
The food was just average and the portion size was a joke. There was barely enough food for a child let alone an adult who paid over $8.00 per plate. I would not recommend FLORENCE'S RESTURANT at all. If you are in the mood for homecooking or soulfood try A FAMILY AFFAIR RESTURANT right up the street they have much better tasting food, decent customer service, more value for the money spent and a family oreinted atmosphere.
