My wife and I are regulars at the Omaha Granite City and we have eaten at the Granite City near Kansas City. We have had very good experiences there and few if any complants.
The food is good and portions plentiful. The service is almost always good and the wait staff friendly and competent. If something has not been right, it was addressed and corrected - have had the cost of a meal cut from our bill when what we ordered was not what we got.
We are members of the MUG CLUB which entitles us to 10% off our food and a larger mug of beer at a reduced price plus regular invitations to MUG CLUB PARTIES with free food and taping of special and seasonal brews.

Granite City did not live up to it's reputation when my wife and I visited on Saturday 11/08/08 for lunch. After waiting an extremely long time to get our entrees we were dissapointed to find out that our food was not warm, as if it had been ready for quite some time and just not brought out to our table. Our waitress, who did not have many tables at the time, spent almost all of our visit taking to her co-workers and flirting with men at other tables instead of paying attention to her customer's needs. While not being busy, she still didn't find the time to bring our cold food out to us herself. The food was okay, but not a value by any means for the portion compared to the price. You would be better suting going to Applebees or Chili's because that's all Granite City is with a micro-brewery attatched. All in all, it was a poor experience and I would not recommend this place when Omaha has so many truly great places to dine/
