The food was hot and delicious, with a standout fried chicken and fish. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was enjoyable, making me eager to return for more menu items in the future.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
I ordered delivery because I don't drive and forgot my lunch. I didn't want a burger or pizza or a sandwich because I would be working a 12 hour shift. I ordered the smothered chicken, collard greens and mac and cheese.
My order arrived and I was given the oven fried chicken, instead of what I ordered, which tasted exactly like Shake and Bake. The mac and cheese was pedestrian and generic and tasted eerily like Velveeta's brand. The cornbread was dry and difficult to swallow. The collard greens tasted like they came from a can. The best thing about this entire meal was the Sprite.
If you have no idea what soul food should taste like or you did not grow up eating GOOD soul food then this is the place for you. But if you know soul food should be cooked well and cooked with love and you don't accept anything less, skip Big Mamma's.
