It may not catch your eye at first glance, but don't be fooled by appearances. The local diners on the west side hinted at good eats, and our waitress was friendly with a dry wit. The liver and onions was cooked to perfection, and the halibut was a hit with my husband. The coconut cream pie and blueberry pie were both delicious. The portions were generous and reasonably priced at $11.99 each. The welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices make it a great spot for classic dining.

My friend and I recently went to this restaurant and I had steak on a bun with fries and she had liver and onions we both had a glass of water the menu stated the price for each plate was 13.99. We get to the register to cash out. And both our orders were $18.99. We left tips she did the 15% I simply added 4$ to mine So either their menu prices have not been updated or there was a mistake made. If the prices are higher you should be told when you are given the menu and if not is this tax they add on?

Bill and Lisa the owners are very heart warming people. Their personalities and kindness make you feel welcome every time. Some of their staff are delightfu,l wonderful and down to earth people . Their establishment is very comforting and relaxing. Love it there. If your dining in or it's take out . Now. The food. Wow...The food is absolutely amazing . From there grilled cheese sandwiches on the kids menu to the home made burgers to the amazing fish and chips.And everything in between. Everything is made with love and you can taste .The prices are spectacular . Their food taste homemade as a lot of different things like Lisa Homade pies are . And wow they are beyond Yummy...
It gives it that' just like mom use to make feeling " You don't wanna drive threw hastings without stopping in. Yoy will wish ypu had. You won't regret stopping to meet friendly staff and enjoy their amazing down to earth " just like mom made . You'll love the Captains Table. Hope to see you there.
