I thought the food was really good - everything tasted fresh and homemade. We started with the French Onion soup, which was super hot and had a delicious, sweet onion flavor without being too salty. The all you can eat Pickerel dinner was fantastic, with perfectly cooked fish and tasty sides like root vegetables and Rosti. The portions were generous, and the menu has something for every type of food lover. The service was outstanding, and I'll definitely be coming back again soon. The prices were reasonable given the quality of the food, so I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Great job on the food and service!

Absolutely the worst service and restaurant I have ever been to. I made reservations for 6 people ( 3 adults 3 kids ) for a 5 pm dinner. I was told they only had a booth in the Bar ( I said ok) . The person who took my reservation was not very friendly ( that should have been an indication to me) Once we arrived I was asked if I had I reservation I responded yes and gave my name. Before she even looked at the reservation she asked me "how many: We get seated = there was a drink ( bar) menu on the table. We waited about 15 minutes someone finally came over. My grandson ordered Choc. Milk ( which was on the menu and we heard another waitress telling someone to bring up more Choc. Milk) the waitress said ="we don't have any: I ordered a gin and tonic double with lemon and lime Tall. She the waitress rolled her eyes at me. Then we started to order dinner - we were told they only had "noodles for the kids . ( not what they wanted. ) my son ordered Fish and chips for the kids we were told they didn't have any = then he ordered Cordon Blue - was also told they didn't have any
and they did not have any wiener schnitzel At this point the waitress procced to tell us they had been very busy the night before due to a catering event and didn't have much food. At this point we walked out. We have been many times before ( with the old owners) an are local. We will NEVER go there again and will tell as many people as we can not to go either.

We had a great meal, Valentine's special, however the room temperature (58f degees) left a lot to be desired! Good service and great house wine once it had been warmed to regular room temperature.
