The food and service here are truly exceptional, offering an unparalleled experience for lovers of Chinese and Cantonese cuisine. The spring rolls and iced tea stand out as the finest I've ever tasted, elevating the dining experience to new heights.

We had a small order last night $42.00
It was the worst food I've ever purchased very disappointed. I can understand that times are tough for small businesses, even more reson to sale food to enlist a repeat customer.
But sadly we will not be returning. I have to poss a rating but it didn't deserve that

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened! The owners are great and we have enjoyed this restaurant and it's food many times over the years. The number 2 and #6 are our favorites but just about anything on the menu. Food is fresh and hot. Love the spring rolls!

If you're used to the quality of Chinese food in bigger cities like Toronto, don't expect the same / anything remotely similar at all. I ordered beef with vegetables (which is usually known to be one of the safest options at most Chinese restaurants and really hard to fail like mac and cheese), chicken with pineapple sauce (again, hard to fail as it's basically deep-fried meat in the typical red sweet and sour sauce), yeung chow fried rice (I've been to so many chinese restaurants and have never had a bad yeung chow fried rice ever), and spring rolls. All four dishes failed miserably. The spring rolls weren't bad taste-wise but were soaked in grease and not crispy at all. The yeung chow fried rice was also soaked in grease. Beef with vegetables was so bland that I had to basically cover the whole thing with the Sriracha sauce and the vegetables were so mushy as if they were boiled for hours and hours. The vegetables in that particular dish like the broccolis and green peppers are normally crunchy at most Chinese restaurants and this was not the case at Choy-See Kam. The red sweet and sour sauce used for the deep-fried chicken was also extremely bland which is mind-blowing considering the main ingredients are basically sugar and vinegar and therefore hard to fail and should be literally sweet and sour. It is also embarrassing to call the chicken deep-fried when the outer layer that should be crispy was almost non-existent and super soggy. I normally do not leave restaurant reviews but this one was so bad that I felt the need to. The owners are very nice so I feel pretty bad leaving this comment but I didn't want people wasting their precious dollars on their crappy food. I was not impressed at all that every single dish failed when I spent a good amount of money for all 4 dishes.

Been there many times for just door dining and very pleased. Two years later, ordered take out and was immensely disappointed. Greasy WonTons as well as Spring rolls. wonTon sauce was like a gel. Fancy rice was over cooked, vegetables OK, Beef lo main bland. Not going again. Must have some one new in the kitchen.
