It's great if you want lukewarm coffee, room temperature mashed potatoes, lukewarm fish and weird tasting clam chowder. Gross! So noisy that you couldn't hear yourself think. This restaurant used to be really good. Won't be back, no longer recommend to anyone.

The patio offers a stunning view of the lake, beach, and sunset, making it a truly spectacular experience. The staff is friendly, the establishment and washrooms are clean, and the food is decent, creating an overall pleasant visit.

We always thought it a treat to eat at Callahan's. This time was different. The perch was as good as before, but I ordered mashed potatoes because they used to have wonderful garlic mashed potatoes. This time the potatoes were an odd combination of fresh potatoes and maybe some instant potatoes, or leftover potatoes from some other day - awful - and the coleslaw tasted old, so I couldn't eat it either. What has happened to this restaurant?

Perch I'm sure was heated up in a microwave.
Soggy fries , etc.
first clue , it was busy and my whole table meal came in approximately under 10 minutes.
I've have a TON of meals there over my 66 years, but never again.
It's not the only time I've had food like this there.
Very sad.

Went for lunch"¦was way too noisy and fish seemed cooked in rancid oil. Will not go again, will never recommend it and we live in Port Dover.

My favorite place to visit! The best perch dinner! Though we live in Toronto, we still come to this restaurant regularly. I haven't had such good perch dinner anywhere in Toronto! Tomorrow planning to visit them again!

I was at the restaurant last weekend and I had the worst perch dinner I have ever had in my life. The service was very quick, but that was because the fish had to have been fried at least a half hour before and the fries were cold as well. The coleslaw was good though. Never to return!!

Our waitress forgot to order our appetizer. Which was no big deal, we got it eventually. Then our "dinner" came, which looked like a child's meal. The portion size was pathetic for paying $16 and the fish was cold while the coleslaw was warm...little bit backwards. When we spoke with the manager about the meal, she said there was nothing she could do. There is a new chef and he cut the portion sizes. And when mentioning the heat of the food she said the waitress probably didn't bring it out right away...then she walked away from us. Would not recommend going there...unless you want to pay $60 for an appetizer.
