The Capt George's location I visited recently stood out as the best among the several I've been to. The food was delicious and offered in generous portions at reasonable prices. The restaurant itself was clean, including the washrooms, and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. This is definitely a popular spot for a reason.

Love this place! We came on a busy Monday for lunch, our server was friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious. Shared the Captains platter portion was huge and price reasonable.

Please note that this is a very old menu. The prices are significantly higher then this menu shows. However the food is great and I am a regular takeout customer.

I went in at 5:30 on December 27 2022 I was told that it would be 40 minutes for take out. I noticed most tables were not been used. So I said I will have dinner here and I was it would still be 40 minutes. I did not want to wait that long so I went to the Golden Valley and the service was much faster and their staff is very friendly. Forty-minute wait just to have a hamburger at Captain Georges no thanks.

Omg, went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday. Only 2 tables outside were occupied and just us inside. It took almost 40 mins to get our lunch. Fish was great and the fries needed more time to cook. But pricey over $60.00 for lunch for 2 orders of halibut and chips and 2 drinks. I won't be going back!!

Very expensive $91.50 for 4 orders of halibut ? Fish was soggy chips small and burnt!! Will never go back to Trenton shop! Not sure fish was really halibut!

The worst fish dinner we have ever had. The cost of 2 fish and chip diners with 2 pcs of fish on each and one chicken fingers with fries cost 83.68. I will never eat from there again. It was a take out order. Most of the frí¬es and half of the fish went out for the birds. No stars from me.

I was in this Captain George's a while back ordered the Halibut Meal for 3 deal, my daughter in law went in and paid when I asked her how much the bill was she said 70 dollars!!! I called the store and he said that is what he charges for the Halibut 68.99, I told him that the Captain George's in Port Hope charges 39.95 for the exact same thing Dinner for 3 Halibut which consist of 6 Pieces for Halibut fish and 2 Chips. Why is there such a price difference??? I actually have pictures of the menus but I cannot attach them in any way
