Yesterday 7/23/20 I came in after the lunch hour because you are always busy which is a good thing, I noticed you were short handed, & I knew it would take a while to get my food, well it was 45 minutes which usually is ok because the food is usually worth it, I ordered a Ruben which is usually fabulous, but not that day, the meat was tough, the sourkraut or slaw I couldn't tell what it was, not good at all, the parmesan fries had a real weird taste to them, even the rye bread had a weird taste to it plus it was slightly burnt. I would have emailed them but couldn't find any email address to do that, & I couldn't get through on the phone to let them know I wasn't pleased. I don't know if it was just because they were short handed or cutting back on the quality. I hope it was just because they were short handed. I normally go into town once a month & that is my usual lunch treat because I loved there food. I hope Vinny or his staff see this because if they're cutting back on quality they will loose a lot of business. Please go back to the quality you were putting out before, cutting back to cheaper ingredients will never keep you in business, because that is what it tasted like to me.

Ordered Teriyaki pulled pork with extra cheese sauce and received a mess that only had cheese at the bottom of bin along with some strange looking liquid substance.
The fries that were "fresh" are so soggy they are limp.
The cheese sauce was separated & watery.
Their bbq is way too strong on liquid smoke flavoring for my personal taste so I always get this instead & it will be the last time for a very long time.
Never have I been so disgusted by the look of food before in my life and I certainly hope this is the worst that ever gets!
Come to find out after I called to let them know about the disaster we were given the employee I spoke with went in back to check the cheese sauce.
Apparently it was thin and not the right consistency. yet they placed it on our orders with no regard or attention paid to this fact.
This was only made known when both orders were returned for a full refund and going else where for dinner as Vinny's was closed and unable to fix this screw up.
The other person who's order was included said "the cooks were just too lazy to care. It was a poor decision on their part.". I could not agree more.
Being this lazy takes work to see that you are serving watered down cheese sauce that is so thin that it falls to the bottom of the bin and then you mix up some of the meat with what supposed to be EXTRA cheese sauce on top to hide that is not excusable.

I called back (because no one ever called me) & spoke with a MOD regarding this fiasco. The excuse was that a different cheese sauce that was being used for their mac & cheese.
I honestly have no idea how this changes the fact that after paying for extra cheese there was none visible save the bottom of the bin.
Next I was told that they weren't going to be offering the teriyaki sauce (perhaps this individual is unaware that it's not "on the menu" so to speak, but rather a request?) And Vinny's seems so hard up for money they will now only offer that on the side for an additional charge... great way to handle a screwed up order by telling the customer you're going to charge them more for what they've always gotten instead of fixing the problem first. Real nice.
The next thing I'm being told is that was the reason the fries were so soggy and yet that has never been a problem in the past. Employees showing no pride in there work or care about keeping their place of employment looking good in the eyes of the public has been an issue in the past.
I use the word excuse because rather than a genuine attempt to make this screw up right (after claiming they saw this review) nothing was actually done and worse ZERO accountability was taken for the decision to hand us this mess just before they closed.
When there's a simple problem, fix that before the way you (mis)handle things creates another problem or bad review. In all fairness I did give them not one, but two chances to rectify this situation to no avail.
The proof is in the pudding sure seems to fit this place I am sorry to say.
Had they even seemed to care to fix this or all out made this right by addressing the first problem rather than being rude and making it clear they did not care about what happened or what needed to be done to fix it I was more than willing to adjust this review to reflect that.
Sadly that did not happen instead they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to place an order after it certainly should have been clear how displeased I was at the way the call was being handled.
Not once was there even a sign of remorse that an order like that was served.
All I heard was excuses about why & how it happened so to say I am not pleased is putting it too mildly.
If you want a good review, give great service to your customers!
For me the worst part is I only gave them this second chance despite everything because my child wanted the pulled pork fries.
If it were possible I would give this place -10 stars
