The best place on t.he West Coast for fish and chips. Great staff and very professional. Must visit..

This is NOT a "Fishmonger" and it's not an English style fish fry house either, more like a glorified food cart. The lack of knowledge and inexperience presented today was unfortunate.
We walked out without giving it a try, the place smelles too.

As we proceeded to walk out, the owner gave us an uncomfortable feeling, he said something under his breath while him and another bald man continued to stare at my wife and I walking out.

Unsatisfied and hungry.

review_stars 10/20/2023 - Nothing special
I think most of the food was purchased from the frozen section at the grocery store, nothing special by any means.

Loved the batter! Fish was fresh, moist, perfectly cooked and not greasy. Tasty homemade tartar sauce. Fries and coleslaw were okay, but we will definitely be back for the amazing fish!

This place is fantastic! We drive four hours out of our way when going to the Oregon Coast, just for this! We have recommended the restaurant to many people who now are also driving out of their way to get here. Haven't got a bad review yet from those we have sent here. You will not be disappointed.

This is hands down the best fish and chips I've had in a very very long time. We did the $25 combo and honestly 3 people could easily split this..we are 2 fish lovers and we couldn't keep going to eat it all haha. It's not greasy or mushy, it was the perfect light and crispy breading. Delicious fish (rock, salmon, tuna and cod) and amazing tarter sauce. Fries were crispy and the Mac salad was amazing as well.

When I come into town I'm an avid bow picker customer but this has em beat! Great customer service was our experience, we did a pick up order.

The restaurant was clean and cute. Its not a big huge place so don't expect that. It's perfect!

There are many reasons I will not return or recommend.
I wanted it to be good, but Bowpicker is where it's at.
Thanks, but no thanks FinsMongors

No restroom? It's 2022, get it together!
The man who served our group sounded intelligent at first, then he continued to ramble on about covid and how it's a "scam", really guy? You own a food establisment, shame on you.
Shall never return.

We go there every week for the best Tuna in town

review_stars 10/12/2021 - Closed for good perhaps?
Almost appeard as if the business has been closed for awhile now (during normal hours I was at restaurant). Closed for good perhaps? No answer when called business telephone a few days later. Not impressed. Shall never return to this dumpy "one horse town". Better chips across the pond in Astoria.

review_stars 07/31/2021 - Soggy Crusade with a side of crap!
Soggy fish batter like other reviee stated. If I'm not mistaken, my coleslaw was rancid by the smell and look. Person behind counter denied me service after I told him that I believe the cole slaw was rancid, refund and replacement denied. We will not return due to this establisment for lack of customer service, quality, poorly prepaird then fried. All items are cooked in the same grease. KOA said it was a 2 star, boy were they being generous. 1 star establishment. The woman who may be the owner is not professional unfortunately.
Sincerely,
-No A Happy Camper.

Bowling lanes are well maintained and friendly staff. Reatrooms are always clean. The Pro Shop knows there stuff too, always improving my game.

Best fish and chips. The websites state that they are closed. This is incorrect. Worth the trip to go. Everything is good here.

review_stars 05/10/2021 - Justin
Love this place! Portion sizes are amazing and the cod is phenomenal.

review_stars 03/13/2021 - Fishmonkies!
Still closed???? Not worth the drive anyway, food was mediocre at best. Not sure if we came on a bad day, but the fish was not thoroughly cooked, not crispy AT ALL!!!!!!!! The "chips" are crinkle cut french fries, REALLY????? This is where my family and I go, Bowpicker #1, Grizzly Tuna #2, Toms #3, thats my opinion.

review_stars 11/08/2020 - MenuPix User
Not as well known as Bow Picker in Astoria, but better in my estimation.

review_stars 10/30/2020 - Tanner Hanson
WARNING no mask! The older gentleman who I assume owns the place was not wearing a mask, nobody had a mask. My wife and I continued to look at the menu out of curiosity (we have mask on), glad we did not order because it seems as if the place could use a cleaning. Unfortunately, this place will not comply with simple guidlines. We could not get out of here fast enough!

review_stars 10/14/2020 - Vicky Salisbury
NO MASK OR gloves., that right there is enough to make me never return.

PS, if you want fresh fish from the Pacific Northwest, try a real fish and chips shop.

Hate to say it, but we seen dead bugs inside the windows and no Covid 19 pre cautions? Shame on you for going against guidlines!

review_stars 08/22/2020 - Cyrie
Had the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Great meal for a reasonable price. Will be back, worththe drive from Vancouver.

review_stars 08/21/2020 - Abel Valasquez III
food no good so i go to other place Bowpicker or Moes. i dont know if guy cleans place well, dirty where they cook the food and where they prepare. i seen some fish thawing in direct sunlight i dont think guy knows how to store food okay enough

review_stars 07/13/2020 - Karsten Bjelland
After eating their wonderful fish and chips and awesome fries I was actually sad they had no chowder or any soup probably will go somewhere else because mo’s is way better with clam chowder and and fish

review_stars 07/07/2020 - Kelly Michelle
They dont accept credit card and no public restroom my dad needed to use, no biggie. The fish and chips was okay, cole slaw was bland, store bought tartar sauce.
Not sure if i would return because of the way the owner pushed his political opinion on us, he was very agressive towards us. He said a few offensive comments that were not necessary since i was there to get food. It is unfortunate the owner was like that and that people lime him exist.
