I came to Lincoln city with my girlfriend because it was her birthday and we chose to go to Pub Fish and Chips for a take-out dinner because they were the only fish and chips place open. We were horribly disappointed with our experience and we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I came to pick up our order after ordering on the phone and when I arrived, the lady who looked like the manager just stared at me rudely as I approached the counter. I asked if this is where I stand for pickup orders as there was no sign and she stayed silent and rolled her eyes and said mumbled "what's your name"? She looked completely disassociated and careless and slowly made her way to the register to finish the order. We ordered 4 piece halibut fish and chips with no coleslaw and extra vinigar/lemon and when we got to our hotel to open up the box, it had coleslaw, no vinigar/lemon and about 15 small fries that we paid $19 for (the menu lists this item as $17 so we were apparently charged extra too).. When I called to make the restaurant aware a lady answered. When I told her I was disappointed in my order she was silent for a while and then offered a basket of fries with a careless tone. Fish and chips is in the title of their name and the fish was mediocre and there was a jokingly small amount of fries to balance it out. With the competition out there i'm surprised they survive at all with that and their crappy customer service. I wouldn't push it this far as to write a review but it's my girlfriend's birthday and not getting the order right is one thing but their customer service skills are that bad that I wanted to write something.
