I have been enjoying dining here regularly for a few months now, particularly on Fridays for the prime rib. The food has consistently been delicious during our visits, whether for lunch or dinner, and the service provided by the staff, including James, Shandale, Sam, Nina, and Mariah, has always been exceptional. Thank you to the team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable experience for my family and me.

I recently stayed at The Shilo Inn, which houses The Portage Grill. I was a little thrown by the fact that they have Cajun items on their menu even thought they are located in the Gorge.. But to be honest it was the best service i have had in a long time. The food was perfect and the view was outstanding. If you are ever traveling through The Dalles, Or you must stop by and see for yourself!!
