The restaurant offers delicious Chinese food with generous portions, making it a satisfying dining experience. The service was attentive and efficient, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the older appearance of the establishment, the quality of the food and service make it a worthwhile choice for a meal.

Living in this Columbia Gorge area now since 1963, I've had many years experience with this restaurant and they have never failed to feed the need for great Chinese food. It's kind of a hole in the wall place in downtown Hood River, but definitely a local favorite with hundreds of return customers. I would give them 5 stars for everything, but it's kind of a dive for decor; otherwise, you can't beat their Won Ton soup, the House Special chow mein, and their appetizers. Really anything on the menu is bound to delight your food cravings and it's more than ample amounts of food that is served, so you won't be hungry and you'll likely need a to go box. The BEST thing to order is the Hawaiian dinner for two or more... it's comes with EVERYTHING you want and more. I like pan fried noodles, so I usually get at least one order of the House Special Chow Mein and I've even gone there to get that dish (usually 2 or 3 orders of it) to take to potluck functions on the fly. It's never failed to please. Do yourself a favor if you are visiting Hood River and make at least one trip to this restaurant. Check with them for their hours and if they are allowing dine-in service with this new age of covid. But they are open limited hours and are great about take out orders. I'm thinking about getting a take out order as I type this.... and it's a 20 minute drive for me to get over there to pick it up! Yum!

My son was born in Hood River 47 years ago. This is the only place my son will eat Chinese food anymore. He loves it there. Anytime he wants to celebrate with food....this is the place he chooses. The service is very nice. In fact we are going there this Wednesday!!! And he's taking me out to lunch and bringing a friend. We count ourselves luck to have this restaurant available to us.

I have been eating here for years, I'm a born and raised Hood River local, I've noticed the quality going downhill in the past several years. I decided to try once again after a 6 month hiatus with a "to go" order #9 dinner. It was eaten within 20 minutes of pickup, still piping hot. I ate about 2 bites of the chow mein but it was not edible. The rice was ok, the sweet and sour pork was over done and very greasy. It reminded me of something pre cooked and warmed up again. Long story short, I woke up that night extremely and violently ill. It was about 72 hours before I could even stomach tea and toast. Sad, this used to be a fairly good place to eat.
