While vacationing in Pacific City, my family and I dined at The Riverhouse on a local's suggestion. The exterior may be deceiving, resembling a barn, but the interior exudes a cozy and intimate atmosphere with only a handful of tables. The locally owned restaurant, managed by the hospitable couple Steve and Joy, serves up delicious meals with exceptional service that made our visit truly memorable.

If one only has a night to dine in Pacific City Riverhouse IS our choice and has been our choice even before they were forced to close down!!!
Mother had the seafood macaroni last night and just finished her leftovers for lunch. She's in heaven..." it's as good as it was last night". She had the fish and chips last time and raved about those for days! Our other guest had the rock fish tacos. He said that they were delicious. I had the coho salmon that I had been craving for weeks as I had this dish for the first time last month. !!! SO delicious! This chef is gifted! What a gift to us!! Just to enjoy heavenly food is delightful, BUT that's not all....the service is impeccable!! Smiles....lots of smiles. Thank you Riverhouse for getting it right!!
