We went here going off of reviews we found and it sounded like a great place to go, but unfortunately we were sadly mistaken. To start they just point to the table we were to sit at and handed the menus over. That I was willing to look over but the meal got worse. We ordered calamari and it was chewy, almost like a rubber band. Then for our meal I had a cup of soup and the tuna sandwich, let's just say moe's chowder is better and I have never had a "fresh" tuna sandwich taste so fishy. And my companion had the fish and chips and even their "fresh" fish tasted not so fresh. Needless to say we will not be going back.

I tried to order chicken strips because I don't eat a lot I have a band in my belly so I don't eat a lot I asked the waiter I want the kids meal So we've got to charge the 3 bucks so I told them 7 bucks is better than no bucks.
Courtney these guys the customer is always wrong always wrong stay away from this place

To say the least we were very disappointed. I had waited over a year to taste the crab cakes - which were very good. We had very good cocktails at enormous prices. Our dinners were terrible - much better at Applebee's. One of us had the rock fish which was poorly presented with rock hard burnt brussel sprouts and one piece of the fish was overcooked. There was not a thing appetizing about it...could not eat even half of it. The other of us had some type of pasta with overcooked seafood and just tons of noodles - not eaten much either. The bill was over $100 (without the tip). Next time it will be Gracies Sea Hag or maybe a hamburger at McDonalds somewhere. Never ever again!

Three of us had dinner at Tidal Raves tonight, Sept., 23, 2021.
Two out of our three meals were excellent. My meal was their ribeye steak offering which was very tough to the point it could hardly be cut with a steak knife.
My husband is always resistant to speaking up when there is a problem, so I hesitated when the manager stopped at our table, but did tell our waiter when he stopped for the 1st time at the end of our meal to ask how everything was. When I shared with him my issue he was less than concerned, I told him to just take the steak away. He made no jester of concern or to do anything what so ever related to the meal. When he brought the check for the full amount he made no apology or eye contact with me. Lesson relearned: don't order steak at a place the specializes in seafood dishes.

We're there a week ago, have been coming for 9- 10 yrs to Depoe Bay. It has always been our favorite restaurant. Not sure if there is a new owner/mgt, but it has changed. No reservations, guy at reception, rude and loud. New very small wine glasses and pour is even smaller. We had the oysters which are always excellent, this time soggy and barely warm. Not sure we would go again.

The food is not worth waiting over an hour for anymore. This restaurant used to have great food and now it's second rate at best. They use cheaper fish now and charge more and their dishes are all í€ la cart. I ordered rockfish and chips and it was all batter. The rockfish was still dripping oil and since the kitchen staff kept the fries in the same fryer basket they were burnt and covered in oil. If you want good food go to the Thai restaurant down the street.

Not a good experience
The crab cakes and coconut shrimp were greasy and the fish tacos soggy.
Probably one of the worst meals we have had.

I will not Rave about this place! Had to wait 30 minutes for nothing!! The clam chowder and view were the best, but my fish and chips were greezy! I disliked the thick batter!
Mark our waiter tried really hard to please us but he was swamped. We had to wait and wait on him. We will not be returning here!

Drinks where great, service great, crab cakes good, crab Louie good, mixed seafood platter horrible oysters inedible. With that said, would probably go back for view and drinks.

Deep fried oysters better than pan fried and meals were good but shrimp was overcooked. Didn't live up to our expectations but was ok.
