The food here is SO GOOD! The BBQ pork nachos are incredible, i don't know how they do it. My favorite sandwich is the halibut burger, it's always super fresh and has lots of fish. You can always smell the meat smoking in the back. They don't have a fryer so no french fries but really good soups and salads. I've always had good service there but I've also worked in the service industry and I know how to treat servers and also how hard it is to find good help.

This place is a hidden gem! Love the smoked pork ribs and the grilled oysters are my wife's favorite. The reuben is also incredible. Always good service.

Terrible employee attitude toward customers and extremely slow service. The guy working there is the worst of them all. I thought it was just a bad night the first time I went in but the 2nd visit was worse than the first. I won't ever go back.

Place has lots of potential but bartender was grumpy with us at best from the minute we sat down at the bar. "How do you pour your Guinness", I asked "Do you want it or not?" came the reply. Another customer next to me asked how a particular beer was (they serve micro brews from a place in Cannon Beach), bartender's response "I don't know - I don't drink anymore" and, under his breath, within earshot of us and others, about another customer reviewing the drinks board "I haven't got time for indecisive people" - its a micro brew selection with which tourist folks are not familiar.
For a touristy location, you would think they would be more attentive to where a lot of tourists do research but when I was complaining he actually suggested I go write a review and then in front of the other punters at the bar, he called me a "dick head". I don't offend easily so no big deal to me but is this really how you want to be seen to the customers whom you don't chase out - maybe so. As I understand it, this guy was not the owner. This place would be a gem if they just changed out some of the staff. If he really was busy, why not have more than 2 people front of house on the first holiday weekend of the year.
