I hadn't been in years. Went last night for a date night. The postickers were hot and fresh and we both had pad Thai entrees one chicken and one beef. The waitress even warned us how much food each dish would be - she was right it turned into 3 meals each for us! Very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious.

The Woodsman is a fantastic local eatery serving delicious Thai cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of options, all consistently tasty and served with great customer service.

In the past I have enjoyed fresh seasonal vegetables and meat at the Woodsman Tavern. It is a combination Thai and american food place. So you can imagine how very disappointed I was when I ordered their string beans with crispy chicken in sauce. It was described not he menu as a "whole chicken w/bone in" WHen it came it was badly dried out cut up pieces of chicken as tho it had been under the heat lamps too long. It was not edible. I mentioned it to the service person and was told that it was ok as yesterday someone had told that it wasn't done enough. How does that effect me? It doesn't The chef should most certainly prepare the food the way he/she thinks it is best and not shilly shally with the recipe. I don't know what the lady got the day before at this restaurant but mine was severely dehydrated and old. We did pay for the meal anyway and I picked out the left over string beans to take home. We might try them one more time, but I am very disappointed in the food today and the response of the wait person. This meal cost 13.95 plus 3.50 for the chicken. This is LUNCH! They need to go back to preparing the food with respect for their customers.
