This family-owned restaurant is always bustling with customers who appreciate the delicious diner-style food. The homemade pecan pie and charcoal-grilled steaks give everything a comforting, home-cooked flavor that's hard to beat. The friendly staff makes every visit enjoyable, and even when they close early, they go out of their way to accommodate you.

Don't let the outside fool you 0 Food and Service is GREAT!! They have good sandwiches, fry's and other sides. We go there for the weekly specials of ribs or steaks. On nights when it is packed it may take a minute or so to catch someone if your need something but most times even when busy they the wait staff will check to see if you need some anything and how everything is tasting?

The food here is REALLY good. The prices are a little high but I guess that goes along with the territory. It is always crowded because he food is so good and the staff there were very good at getting the food out to you rather quickly.

If you want GREAT food, this is the place to go on 7th Street

Food was good. I do not like that they never let me see what was on my bill. I am pretty certain they overcharged me unless hot tea is $5.00. I won't go back as this is the 2nd time I have been denied seeing the bill.

I am single and go out to eat after work. I was told special good on Tuesday. Went- no special. As staff chatted with big groups and friends, I was ignored sitting up front. Finally, got to order. Very greasy and high prices .Wanted dessert and a to go order. Somebody came and slammed a check on the table and didn't ask me if I needed anything. I felt rejected and sad. Only brief contact with 2 separate severs. So, no dessert or to go. I did go. go out. May 2015

This restaurant is one of the best in town. The food is amazing, and so is the service. I always look forward to seeing all of the workers because they treat me so well.The atmosphere is unforgettable! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is thinking about going there, you will not waste your money! Plus all the regular entrees are below 10 dollars, what could be better than that?? So go on down to Der Daug Haus and try out there amazing food.. you will be far from disappointed.n

Best food in town. Seriously some of the best food I've had. When ever I come back to Parkersburg I have to go there.
Veggies are fresh and from the farmers market down the road. All the food is fantastic! I highly recommend this place!
