This morning, I was the first to arrive at the Barrel House, where the atmosphere buzzed with laughter and conversation from several packed tables. The waitress expertly juggled our large group's needs, swiftly delivering coffee and delicious meals that warmed us from the inside out, all while maintaining a friendly demeanor amid the chaos.

This morning, I arrived at the Barrel House at 9:00 am with a group of 20, ready for a hearty breakfast. The waitress was initially caught off guard by our large group but quickly sprang into action, efficiently seating us and taking our orders. The food was served promptly and was delicious, and the service was exceptional - a truly memorable dining experience in McKean County.

Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Very good size portions, varied menu selections. Well prepared.. very good price & value. We stop 3-4 each summer with 10-20 persons. Well satisfied...recommend for a good dining experience !

Gosh, not one of the three waitress even looked our way. It's a small place and half the tables were empty. We stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for 5 minutes. No one noticed us except some local guys seating at a nearby table. They told us we could seat ourselves. The couple in front of us did just that and one of the waitress immediately said hello to that couple because they were locals. We sat ourselves. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes go by. Three different waitresses pass within three feet of us and nothing!. Not a hello, not a someone will be within a minute, nothing.

Dang, I know when I have been dissed and there is nothing like being dissed by some snotty hometown girls from a small place. Gotta go and got up and walked out. We drove 500 feet across the street and got a great breakfast sandwich from Sheetz. Whenever anyone complains that Sheetz is taking over small businesses I will remember my experience at the Barrell House and say thank you Sheetz.

excellent well prepared food. very good service. highly recommend and never had anything close to a bad meal here.
