We and another couple went ther last night. The restaurant was pretty but very dark. I had the lobster soup which was very good but would have been outstanding if it had pieces of lobster in it. We all had the fillet. The meat was done perfectly but all four of us had the same comment: too salty. I had the lobster Mac and cheese which was good but again too salty. The waiter was visibly annoyed when we asked him for the birthday candle and cake that was requested. The final fault came. When I got home and was able to read the bill. They had quietly added a tip to the bill w/o my knowledge. This left a bad taste in my mouth and guaranteed that I will return to the 3 Oaks.

No matter how much other urge me to go back, and no matter how many dinners I “miss” out on, I will never, ever go back to the Oak Steakhouse. In my experience, the service is horrific, the food is only average, and the prices are 2x other, better restaurants in town. In my view, Oak Steakhouse is the Pigeon Forge Elvis Museum of Highlands. I predict the restaurant/hotel will be sold/out of business within three years.

I went this evening to the Highlands, NC location waited an hour after ordering, watched others who ordered after I did eat their meals, and when I let the bartender know I had to leave, I was charged for all of the food that had never been served. Appalling!

Oaks would be a wonderful place if the staff was more friendly only one waitress was extremely friendly and catered to everything that I needed and came to my table and made sure I was okay the rest of the staff was extremely snotty the main manager of the restaurant really rub me the wrong way the food was phenomenal I really enjoyed the food the drinks were exceptionally wonderful it was just that I was pushed out the door and made to feel a bit uncomfortable especially since I spent $260. I'm more than willing to pay those prices but when you go to those type of places you don't expect to be snobbed or rushed and pushed out the door it's horrible that's awful but the food is exceptionally wonderful wonderful the food is great but the staff I don't know out of a staff for me before the people that think two people genuinely smiled at me and said hello

Of all the overrated places in the Lehi Valley this is it. It took 2 × 2 get drinks right and 3 × 2 get my stake right. Hello this is supposed to be a high end steakhouse . Outback Steakhouse could have done a better job for for a fraction of the price.. The sad part was the staff didn't even know how bad they were and the apologies were very thin

Of all the overrated places in the Lehi Valley this is it. It took 2 × to get drinks right and 3 × to get my steak right. Hello !!! this is supposed to be a high end steakhouse . Outback Steakhouse could have done a better job for for a fraction of the price.. The sad part was the staff didn't even know how bad they were and the apologies were very thin. Our tab was over $500. The Unprofessional staff Did not even realize how bad they were.
Save your money...go elsewhere

I had my sixth birthday dinner at oak. I w a s treated like a queen. Every time my husband and I have dinner there the service is like it was my 60th birthday all over again. My word to everyone. If you want to be treated like royalty, go the oak.

this restaurant is by far the best i have ever eaten in. Everything from cocktails to dessert is created to ensure the customer is beyond pleased. In fact, if I must say, the customer's rating is 24 caret gold. Thank you!

Last night my husband and I ate dinner at the bar. We had appetizers and a small dinner and several drinks. We ordered dessert and ordered two more drinks. We paid the check and were finishing our drinks when the bartender Josh, said to me have you been to the rooftop bar and I replied yes and I said what do you want us to leave and he was like that would be appreciated. I don’t expect
To be pushed out of a place so that they can turn a table. It wasn’t as if we hadn’t ordered anything. As a paying customer I found this rude as we spent enough money and were finishing our drinks and going to leave as soon as we finished our drink which would have been another 5 to 10 mins. I find this to be very rude and It was not like we just ordered one drink each and sat there for an hour. My husband and I go out frequently and we go to another restaurant quite often and have never been asked to leave a seat because they want to turn a table. Not sure how much I will frequent this restaurant as that was really not how the bartender should have treated a paying customer who also tipped him in cash.
