My wife and friends really enjoy going to this restaurant often, especially in the summer when you can sit outside on the deck. The service is always fantastic, and the food is consistently excellent with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great spot to visit.

This was the only restaurant that turned us down for donating a gift certificate to our raffle to benefit the shelter animals in the SPCA. We got a flat no. I don't care if their food is good or bad I would never ever go there after they Sean the poor animals in the SPCA.

I took my fiancí© to the Nutty Pear for her birthday. We started with the Shrimp Bisque for an appetizer. It was delicious, to say the least. It was thick, quite delicious and good amount of shrimp. The bisque was served in a large bowl and was a treat to eat. My fiancí©'s entree was the Blackened Delmonico with potatoes topped with bleu cheese. My dinner was the Delmonico au Poivre with mushrooms, creamy cognac sauce served with potatoes. The steak was extremely tender, and very generously portioned. The dinner was absolutely exquisite. I never give compliments so believe me when I say this restaurant is tremendous. We had the opportunity to talk with the owner and she is a very nice, extremely gracious woman. Thank you Nutty Pear for another great dining night.

I enjoy having dinner at the Nutty Pear a couple of times each year. Having the luxury of regularly eating at most of the finer restaurants in NYC, the Nutty Pear holds it own with the best restaurants in NY. I am always impressed with this out of the way dining treat. The appetizers are so delicious, the entrees and side dishes are sumptuous and the portions are quite large. This restaurant would be an instant hit in NYC. Prices are quite low for what you get. We have recommended this restaurants to friends and they, too, have found the dining to be first rate. You will never go wrong having dinner, a celebration or a reception at the Nutty Pear. The restaurant does strongly suggest reservations on holidays and busy weekends. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner. Call their establishment ahead of time. You will not be disappointed.

The food, service, and atmosphere are superb! Menupix states that the Nutty Pear accepts credit cards, however, they only accept cash or cheques. One of my favourite places to dine!
