To the guy from Gville you must have gotten your kilbo else ware. I have been eating it since 1963 when my grandmother could no longer make her own. Their kilbo is the best.
Remember he's not called the Kielbasy King for nothing.

Kowalonek’s Kielbasy Shop has changed the original recipe of their fresh Kielbasy.
I’ve been frequenting their shop going back some 30 plus years, recalling the present owners father who gave me a ham sandwich as I waited for an order.
Last year I presumed the fresh Kielbasy was a mismatch of the original recipe possibly due to a lack of prime pork. This year was the same, but worse. Instead of a pink and juicy interior when cooked, the present version was dark brown and dry. Obviously they are using other pork products in place of the decades long original. Pork shoulder is cheap.
I understand that inflation has affected all of us, but Kielbasy? At almost $6.00 a link it was a disappointing Christmas.
My deceased father from Girardville would cry.

Great food products, great people, and for as busy as it is, fast service! Always friendly and staff even carries out heavy orders to your car! Been doing business there my entire life! I remember going to Chestnut and Columbus streets with dad! Holidays wouldn’t be holidays without keilbosi! The only place I buy steaks for grill also!
