I had a great time at The Back Door Tavern - the chef nailed my fish order perfectly without any hassle. The Reuben sandwich was a pleasant surprise - and on a Tuesday, there were plenty of locals around. The neighborhood tavern has a cozy vibe, with a diverse selection of beers and delicious daily specials that won't break the bank.

They should go out business if they are too good to answer the phone.
The fish is good ,but it is not that great.
Must be nice to blow off customers

Been going here since I was a kid with my grandparents always a local favorite. Now days you can't beat the prices and the amount of food for the price. I've been hooked on the steak salads lately huge helping unlike some other take out salads that have no lettuce. Also everytime we call they answer right away and it's quiet and professional so not sure where all those comments are coming from. Great little place!

They will not answer the phone. Why list a phone number if you refuse to answer it.

If you are going to have a listed phone number then you should answer your phone or at least have the courtesy to have an answering machine that let's potential customers know that you are NOT going to answer your phone. What is even more aggravating is that you obviously can hear the phone ringing because during busy times you take the phone off the hook. Very poor business practice.

Disappointing, went there specifically for their fish only to find out that they no longer offer fish any day of the week other than Friday. They boasted that their fish is the best in the valley and now it's not available. Disappointing.

Many many times have I called and no answer, way before Covid, phone needs to be in the kitchen have a prep cook answer just like pier 19 . You lost another customer. Enjoy
