The donuts here are impressive, with a delicate balance of soft and crispy textures. The variety of fillings, including peanut butter and jelly and Bavarian cream, adds to their appeal, though some favorites like apple fritters are only available on certain days. Each visit feels rewarding, especially when the selection is fresh and the prices remain reasonable, making it a place I often find myself returning to.

Well, I am an out of towner. But my Mom was born and raised in Oil City. So when we would come up from Maryland for visits and went to mass on Sundays at St. Stephens church, the aroma of the donuts coming from the wooden screen door across the street made for a great treat. Now that I am older, it's a requirement that at least a dozen are on hand when I get there. No other donut holds a candle to themðŸ©ðŸ©ðŸ©ðŸ©
