Top Reviews of Maggie's Tavern

This local joint is known for its biker-friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices. It may not be the ideal choice for those seeking upscale dining or a quiet environment. However, if you're looking for a fun and welcoming spot to meet new people and enjoy good company, this place is worth a visit.

Maggie's Tavern.......the Poconos best kept secret! Nestled on the east shore of Lake Saylorsburg in the heart of Saylorsburg, PA, this little known (except to those who ride) biker getaway welcomes all riders! A Harley ~~ or any bike for that matter ~~ is not required unless, of course, you wish to show and tell. The subterranean establishment lends itself to a relaxed, stress free atmosphere with great acoustics and offers reasonably priced libations that are always served with a smile. Good eats are available from a varying menu at a good price. Dishes and/or sides are home cooked, prepared by the bar owner/manager and her "nursing" staff. Check out their website or Facebook page for specialty nights with live music, biker charity runs and much more! The Fathers Day Pig Roast is an event not to be missed! Oh, and you single women....? You are safe at Maggie's. Bikers are not brutes! Usually respectful and protective of women, they simply wear "blue collars" and sport long, wind blown hair.
And no, in case any of you are wondering....I received no compensation for this review.
I pop into Maggie's for a cold pint (or two) after a long day, maybe listen to a little Zeppelin....perhaps I'll overhear a road story..... told with a hearty delivery as only robust bikers can tell them.
.....and I live above the bar......
