Dettera offers a sophisticated dining experience with a diverse menu that caters to seafood lovers. The upscale yet approachable atmosphere, along with excellent service, makes it a great choice for special occasions or a casual night out. Very, very, very expensive for very small portions. Meals for the most part unless you get pizza were in the high 20's with most in the 30's up to 40's. Soup portion was extremely small, perhaps a few tablespoons in a large bowl. Many of the wines by the glass were $16, $12, $11 with a couple at $7. Wines by the bottle were in the 50's on up to $225. This is an unusually expensive restaurant for a neighborhood like Ambler. A bit too upscale with only ordinary food.
