We are new to the area, I would recommend this place to family, friends, we make sure when we have family up for a visit this is our favorite place. Amazing food, and all the waitresses are so friendly and welcoming they make you want to come back!!!

Everytime we eat here we have never been disappointed! The food is 5 star all the time!❤waiters/waitresses are the best.....its a wonderful place to go and have a great time & meal....for any reason..Nicos' is the answer

Took my husband here for Father's Day to celebrate. I ordered a calzone and was blown away how great it was. The best I have ever eaten and we have had many. Plus the sauce delicioso!! 😋 Will be back to try the Ricotta balls another time for sure. Oh BTW our waitress Rachel was sweet and was so helpful!

I have to say it was very disappointing. The servings have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. I just wanted to let someone else know that it's just what it use to be my husband had a Stromboli and it hardly had any meat.

I was visiting my daughter back in 2014. She and her boyfriend took me to Nico's. I have not been able to forget that place. The food was excellent, as was the service. What agreat experience. If I'm ever in Ellwood City again, I will definitely make Nico's my first stop.

I drove to this restaurant from Pittsburgh to Ellwood City because my sister is disabled to make it easier for her to celebrate my birthday. It was also father's day so I understand it was going to be busy. This restaurant doesn't take reservations and supposedly won't put your name on the list until the whole party is there. My sister arrived at about 12:45 but the whole party of 5 didn't arrived until 1:00. We were patiently waiting to be seated...people were walking in and getting seated...so at about 1:45 the person doing the seating said it was because only 4 can fit in booth so they were waiting for tables that can be pushed together. So she finally said, do you want to split up and take two booths. After 50 minutes of seeing everyone get seated except us, I said okay. On the way back to the booths, I see two tables that can be pushed together for 5 people so I asked if we can do that instead of being separated. She said, we will have to clean off the tables. I said okay. I went over to the tables, and another employee said these tables are for someone else. They were trying to seat a party of 5 that just walked in there (one of the employees came over to hug one of their party). I asked for a manager. A woman who said she was one of the managers came out. I explained the situation. She did not apologize or even offer a free dessert in spite of the fact we had waited 50 minutes and they were trying to seat someone who just walked in with the same number in their party. That is customer service 101. I couldn't believe how blatant her lack of concern was. I will never go back to this establishment since they do not value my business. I would recommend anyone thinking of going here to go to one of the many wonderful Italian restaurants available ...unless of course, you are friends with someone who works there and will get special attention.
