It was our first time eating here. Food was very good especially the crab soup. Would recommend anyone to try it out.

We have tried this diner three times and each time gets worse. Finally decided to write a review about today’s experience. We arrived just minutes after 11 am. There were two of us. Breakfast specials were listed, but no lunch specials as was the case the week prior on Monday at this time. When we were seated I asked the host what the specials were and he said the waitress would have that info. Waitress took our drink order and I asked her. She didn’t know, but said she would find out. She left for a good ten minutes and then asked to take our order and I replied I didn’t know what the specials were yet and she said they hadn’t decided. So I waited again. In the meantime we endured a very rowdy group that was excessively loud, crude and vulgar which they did nothing to curtail. Finally our order was taken. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Nothing difficult. An omelette meal and a stir fry. The waitress walked by 45 minutes later and I asked where our meal was because other customers had arrived after us and were halfway through their meals. She returned and said the meal would be done in a couple minutes and I asked what had happened and her reply was that the order had gotten pushed to the side or back. When it arrived the omelette was dry and the potatoes terrible. Not even as good as the first time there. Shippensburg did us no favors by bringing in another diner. We have enough. CJs was much better offering good food and a better clientele. It was a terrible experience and we communicated that to them. A portion was removed from our bill, but we will not recommend this diner nor return.

My wife and I waited a month for the new owners to get settled in. We went for breakfast Monday, may 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM hostess was not very friendly. She asked for our drink order, 2 hot teas. it took almost 10 minutes to get our tea. Then the waitress took our order, and it was about 20 minutes before the food came. Both orders were incorrect. But we ate them anyway. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict, and crispy home fries. she got country eggs benedict which was made with sausage instead of Canadian bacon as it should have been. One sausage patty was edible, but the other was as hard as a hockey puck. My wife's home fries were not real home fries, but shoe string hash browns that were hardly cooked, not crispy at all. My wife didn't eat her hash brown potatoes. I ordered 2 eggs, over medium, with ham and crispy home fries, and wheat toast. I was served 2 eggs sunny side up, with the the shoe string hash browns, although mine were cooked a little more than my wife's. My toast was cold, with hardly any butter on it, and there was no jelly offered. The man with the Do-rag on his head came and asked how everything was, and we told him, but he didn't seem concerned. It was not a good first impression, and we won't be back.
