Ordered chicken and waffles. The only thing made fresh was the waffle. The waitress microwaved the rest at the wait station. It was inedible.
It was supposed to come with soup and salad. Neither was offered. When I asked about the soup, I was told it had been shut off an hour ago.
I wanted to support a small business. I should have just gone to Cracker Barrel

We were at Cross Keys today for breakfast and had the buffet. The food was awful.. The bacon was like rubber tires. Sausage was cold twice.. Told the waitress and she said you have to dig to the bottom because of them sitting.. I did and they were still cold. She brought me some sausage from the kitchen it was so greasy I had to use my napkin to soak up the grease before I could eat any of it. The only thing good on the buffet was the fruit.
