I have eaten breakfast at dutch pantry in DuBois for years and the last time I went I order my usual over 55 breakfast. When I got the bill I was charged .59 for toast. I questioned it at checkout and the cashier went to the manager for an answer and was told I asked for rye toast instead of white so I was charged the extra .59. Never ever saw that before so I am still confused about it. Really if that is the policy they should tell you and I have never paid that before so how is that the policy and why is that not on the menu.

I had the slow-cooked Pot Roast and my husband loved the Slow-roasted Turkey dinner at Dutch Pantry.

The food has always been your home cooking kind of meal. We always buy a whole shoo fly when we are in the area to take back to Michigan

Came hare a couple of years ago and was waiting to be seated for about 8 minutes. The host seated the people behind me first.
Tonight I walked in at 7:59. There's about 7 cars in the parking lot and several tables eating dinner.
The host wouldn't seat me saying they're closed.
Strike 2. I went to Burger King instead. Food is better anyway....

Unfortunately i am finding out this is not a good place for employment. Employees are not getting paid for the hours worked and not at the rate they are promised. They are not given breaks after working 10-12 hours shift. I think it has to do with MANAGEMENT.

I took my daughter and grandson in to eat. I havent been there in several years. We were seated and our orders were taken. When the food was served. I couldn't believe how cold my food was. My grandson is not yet 3. He got a toasted cheese sandwich, it was toasted but i could see clearly there was 2 slices of cheese in the sandwich that was not even melted together. He didn't mind, he like cheese. But my daughter and i got each roast beef sandwich mashed potatoes and gravy with coleslaw. She got her coleslaw i had to ask for mine. BUT BOTH dinners were COLD. The waitress only showed up to ask how it was when i about finished. I wont send food back. I told the waitress it was cold my daughter sent hers back to get MICROWAVED. I want MICROWAVED dinners, ill go to snappys. NOT PLEASED WITH MY MEAL AT ALL !!!!!!!

My wife and I dined there on Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:45 p.m. and had a very positive experience. Our server (Adam) was a very personable young man and the service was great. We have always enjoyed dining there and for good reason. Thank You.

I have been coming to the Clearfield Dutch Pantry for a couple of years now. A group of retired Railroaders meet here every second Monday of the month to eat breakfast and tell lies to each other. The food has never been disappointing and our server is always congenial and handles 12-15 of us with due speed. It's a fun place and we are excited that they put up with us. We have no plans of ever going anywhere else to eat.

The experience was horrible we were greeted we were seated and that’s it, we had a $5.00 coupon and we ordered a Hot Fudge Sunday with a Brownie which was FAIR then they would not take the coupon Because our total was not over $5.00. From this experience and the rudeness of this place I advise people not to eat here I will not be back

Nasty experience. Would never recommend. Visited 4-22-18. Soda had no carbonation - no bubbles and tasted like metal. They gave me a new one- same result.Waited 25 min for burgers. I asked for cooked well done and no lettuce, tomato or onion. It came with lettuce, the flavor of onion though no onion was visible and it was pink inside. After almost 15 min our server came back only after we asked another server to get her to come to us. She offered a new burger for me but again, my spouse was about under 5 min max until he was finished eating. So I ate nothing . We waited another 15 min for our check to come and when it didnt we went right to register where we waited another 10 min for someone to come. When no one came, I peeked my head into the kitchen ( next to the check out) and heard and saw our server boo hooing about me being upset with my meal. Seriously? I interrupted and asked if we could pay. Our server darted away quickly and someone else came to collect the $. No apology, no can we offer you a desert, cup of coffee or anything. I will never go back and will happily share my story so that perhaps someone in their management team will see this and correct their staff.

I purchased some of their items for sale, The manager would not give me an itemized receipt. He rang up my purchases on one an adding machine, not the cash register. I ask for a receipt he gave me the tape from the adding machine that just showed the total. When I ask him to give me an itemized receipt, he said they don't do that. I then ask for a restaurant order slip itemized receipt and he very angrily and loudly sighed, I then said forget it, refund my money and I left. Problem, he was the manager, there is no one to report him to. Why would he not give itemized receipts? How does he claim his income tax's, or maybe he doesn't??? What would you do, I personally want my stuff accounted for.
