Delicious food with a cozy, family-owned vibe. Their drive-thru setup was a pleasant surprise, especially with the decadent desserts. It's been a few years since I visited Somerset, but bringing back a bag of brisket sandwiches made the trip back to Virginia much more enjoyable.

Not great at all ordered a rib dinner the young man was flustered when guess what no ribs I ordered potato salad and macaroni salad got a hard baked potato had to throw away the dinner rolls was so looking forward to it but won't be going back and won't recommend it

Was excited to try the “reopened†version. Went there at 12:22 on Thursday 8/24/23.
Was greeted by a less than cordial young man at the ordering window. I ordered a chicken
dinner and a brisket dinner. I was informed “ chicken was just put in the smoker, wouldn’t be ready for another hour. Order was changed to two brisket dinners when I was informed there were no roasted potatoes, sweet or regular ready.
This is NOT JB’s quality on any level. They were both unprepared, rude and unapologetic.
Things change, sometimes not for better!

I just learned that JB’s Roadhouse has reopened. I plan on trying it tomorrow. But I already miss cowboy Jay at the window and has sweet wife Bonnie. I’m just praying the food is just a fraction as wonderful as it was when Jay & Bonnie owned it.

I so love this place. Owners are great, workers are great and the food is the best and large portions.

I am from Palm Bay Flo. Grow up in Kingwood . Came home for my parents 60th wedding party. All my brothers and sister and family where there the night before. I ordered food on line and talked to Bonnie My friend which is the owner.. We have been best friends since High School. Great food they put so much care and everything they did. I had 30 more folks everybody talked about where came from I said it was great. The peach cobbler hit the spot. The chicken and wings and ribs where gone.. no left overs GREAT FOOD.. Thank you so much.. GREAT.. THANKS..
