The atmosphere was inviting, with a spacious layout and a refreshing vibe. The staff was accommodating, especially in assisting my father-in-law who uses a wheelchair, ensuring he had easy access to the ramp entrance. Despite a longer wait for our pizzas, the delicious thin and crispy crust topped with ample mozzarella was worth it - a testament to the consistent quality maintained over 50 years. The dedication to providing excellent service and delectable food, along with the warm hospitality, makes it a standout dining destination in Mount Carmel.

Pizza was not the same quality that was in the past. The crust was hard and separated on the bottom. Notice this for a while but yesterday it was the worst. Mattucci pizza was always the best in the area but not no more. I understand pizza can change from different bakers but this appears to be a recipe change. Go back to the old way or lose this customer.

I always liked Mattucci's food. Hadn't had it in a long time and was looking forward to getting some today. We ordered take out. I'm sorry to say that my husband and I were VERY disappointed, to say the least. The pizza was only ok, the antipasto wasn't as good as it used to be, and the bread (which I used to LOVE), was moldy and one slice actually looked like someone ate a bite from it. I understand that sometimes things just don't taste as good as we remember, BUT there is no excuse for giving a customer moldy bread! So, I called and told the person who answered that the bread was moldy. The reply I received was: "Thank you, sorry."
We definitely WON'T be ordering from or dining at Mattucci's ever again.

We usually love their pizza, but got it tonight and it was terrible. It was like eating an extremely thin cracker with thin layer of sauce covering most but not all and very little cheese. Even the taste was off and not the same. We got more than one pie and they are all like that. Very disappointed

Ate there last Friday 10/30/2020 and had a table near the bar. Absolutely the worse dining experience in my life. Loud and dirty silverware. My linguine was swimming in soupy sauce and was way overcooked. Get some new silverware and wash it pl. Do not eat at the bar and avoid Fridays.

Best food around! It always has me coming back, whether it's just a double salad at lunch or escargot with dinner. Delicious comfort food.
