My husband and I randomly decided to check out Middlesex Diner while on our road trip. We were tired of the usual chain restaurants and wanted something more local. The food was satisfying, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming like a hometown spot. We'll definitely stop by again if we're in the area.

We have been coming to the diner for years, and have never had any complaints. We love Jimmy's Super Breakfast, their Reuben's, and their Jumbo Bacon Cheeseburgers are the Best!! Our waitresses are always super nice and lots of fun! Let's put it this way. We hope the Middlesex Diner is around for many years to come! :)

it was horrible went saturday night ordered strip steak baked potato and stuffed cabbage given a butter knife to cut the steak food was cold the waitress was absolutly no clue what she was doing

I have been a customer at the diner for many many years. It use to be mostly Sunday morning breakfast. We have gone with our children over the years and now our grandchildren. We have, for the most part, enjoyed the diner. However, if last night had been our first time, it would probably, in all fairness, been our only time. I never do enjoy that sweet smell covering up the bathroom smells. Last night you not only smelled that but, the nasty bathroom smell as well. Twice we have been in there where someone has spilled a drink. I do not think of picking up ice cubes as a very tough job. So, why does the fella in the back come out, while we are eating, with his dirty old mop and shove them in the corner under the back booth? That was the first time, Yesterday he came out with his big old mop, by our table, again we werE eating, slopping dirty water around and and walked away. I understand diner food is just that, like I have stated we have been coming for years, but I have to admit it was even somewhat lacking last evening. It will take us awhile to try again but, if and when we do we hope things smell and are handled better.

Consistently great food at a fair price. Jimi super breakfast is a Shenango Valley classic.
