The Chinese take-out we recently tried in the New Freedom/Shrewsbury area exceeded our expectations. The dumplings, sweet n sour chicken, and general Tso chicken were all delicious and came in generous portions. Ordering online was convenient, and we were impressed by the fresh and flavorful food and outstanding service. Though the fried rice was slightly dry, the overall quality and pricing make this our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

I have been going to New China for going on 24 years. The food has always been great, the service fast, and generally a good value for your money. Sweet dishes are not overly sweet and sour dishes not overly sour. They will make spicy dishes to level you ask for. They have great spring rolls, egg fouyoung and all their noodle dishes are delicious. I like the schezwan dishes best. Conevent hours!

The food here is amazing! 😀I highly recommend the egg rolls and spring rolls. This place was where I first tried chinese food, and thanks to them, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Make sure to ask for Vicky as your waiter and tell her Nutella says hi.

The egg rolls are the best I have had in York County. Also enjoyed the egg foo young it was outstanding!
