I & my wife have been eating at the diner for five years. Food & service very good until today, Memorial Day. My wife & I have never been spoken to sarcastic & rude by a pink haired server. Don't no her name She should be ashamed of herself to speak to elderly & a Vietnam Vet who could be her grandfather!. You lost a great manager, Cristy. We may not return & we will voice our opinions to other friends of ours. Get better servers Mitzi.

12/20/14 THIS VISIT WAS TRUELY "DOWN MEMORY LANE" FOR ME. MY DAD ( GEORGE RIEGNER ) WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL OWNERS , AND INSTRUMENTAL IN THE DINER COMING TO SOMERSET .
MY AID, HIS SONM,AND I HAD RUNCH THERE ,AND THE FATHER OF THE NEW OWNER CAME OUT TO TALK TO ME . WE REMINESED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS AND THIS WAS REALLY AMAZING !!! AS USUALLY
THE FOOD WAS GREAT, AND THE SERVICE WAS EXELENT!!!! I HOPE TOMEET THE OWNER ON MY NEXT VISIT...

Nice place right off the turnpike to eat. Has real diner atmosphere with stools at the counter. Quick service and very reasonable prices. The gob cake was different and good. I will stop there again to eat.

ON WEDNESDAY JANUARY 2,2013.....I WENT INTO THE SUMMIT DINER TOO MEET A FRIEND THERE AT 9;00 AM....I ARRIVED THERE ABOUT 8;40 AM....AND HAD COFFEE WITH A FRIEND...WE WERE JUST SITTING THERE NOT BOTHERING NO ONE....WAS ONLY THERE UN TILL...ABOUT 10;15 AM WHEN THE MANAGER .RUDELY....CAME BACK TO ME AND A FRIEND ASKING US TO PLEASE LEAVE ..OR GO TO THE BACK OF THE DINER..BECAUSE SHE STATED I HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE THEY OPENED,,,AND SHE NEEDS HER TABLES FOR CUSTOMERS,,,,SO IN OTHER WORDS WAS I NOT CLASSIFIED AS A CUSTOMER....OR WHAT???SHE WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY AT ALL ....I WENT TO THIS RESTAURANT ALOT FOR DINNERS.....BUT I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!
