I had the chance to try an Italian restaurant recently, and while the food was enjoyable, the service left something to be desired. The calamari was a bit rubbery, but my risotto with asparagus and shrimp was decent, and my husband liked his linguini pescatore. Despite the mixed experience, the cozy atmosphere and the authentic feel made it worth considering another visit in the future.

This past weekend myself along with 9 other family members, three who have never been here before had dinner here. We came because months ago we enjoyed the food so we came back with added family. I will NEVER go back there again. The place as I understand are run by the owners and do not have any wait staff in the place. They do it all. Well let me first say I was taken back by the way we were treated. Rude does not even begin to describe the treatment we received. It was obvious we were an annoyance to the one who waited our table. He had no patience in dealing with a larger number of people and when he went to read the specials he not only looked at us angrily because one or two people were talking and not realizing he was standing there ready to read the specials he made sure we heard him say I will only read this once. Like we were young children being corrected by a parent. His demeanor was disgusting. I was embarrassed that we talked this place up to our family and this is the first impression they received from this ignorant man. He was not attentive to any of our needs and when we asked him for something it was obvious we were bothering him. When we came to the end of the night he came over to our table while we were getting ready to finish conversation and leave he started to clear off the table as he yelled out "Ok lets go" We spent close to $800.00 that night for the ignorant and uncomfortable treatment we received. In addition the food was not what we experienced the first time there and will certainly not be returning. I would like to recommend to these men that if you are that burnt out hire some wait staff and stay in the kitchen. A little smile and good service goes a long way. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming experience keep on driving.
