A group of three visited the Turkey berry Restaurant last night, 08/22/24. Let's start with the good. The staff and wait service was very good. The wait staff was very attentive and polite. Was lead to my table of choice and was greeted right away. Restaurant was clean and orderly.
Had seen pic or the varies food items previous to arriving so we knew what we were ordering. This is a Halal restaurant so there is no pork or no alcohol served and is not allowed.
The food was nothing special, everything was just okay. The non alcohol drinks were nothing special, tasted like a watered down fruit punch( actually ordered the zero fruit punch) I have previously had a nonalcoholic Tequila and it tasted as if it had real Tequila so this was a let down.
We shared an order of Laab wings which were pretty good a little sweet a little spicy and crispy. We also separately ordered The Pad Thai with Shrimp, The Grilled Lamb, Thom Yum Shrimp soup and Indonesian Fried Rice with Shrimp. The Pad Thai was the standard just with a egg on top and was good. The grill Lamb was good nice seasoning. The person with the soup and fried rice did not enjoy his food at all.

Through the entire meal there were constant gnat problems. We sat in the back at a window both near the tv screen showing the ocean. It was a real annoyance. we were literally batting these two gnats the entire time. after dinner we sat and talk for about 5 minutes until we could no longer deal with the gnats so we got up to leave. On the way out I over heard two women who were seated at the first booth by the door complaining about the gnats. I chimed in... stating We had the same problem in the back at our table.. made a comment about an exterminator and left.
Woke through the night visiting the bathroom. ( Use your imagination). In the morning getting ready for work had an extra couple of trips to the bathroom as well. Two of the three of us work together. When I got to work I was told this person called out sick. I called them on the phone to hear that my night time experience was also his night time and morning time experience as well. Needless to say we contributed it to the food and will not be returning. Haven't talked with the other person yet. That's my Turkey berry experience.
