Our meal at the small outdoor table was enjoyable, offering a sense of safety in the current environment. Bringing our own bottle of Shiraz added to the experience. The wait staff, particularly the three young women, provided excellent service, with the owner showing genuine care for the business. The dishes we enjoyed, such as the vodka rigatoni and chicken parm, were delicious, topped off with heavenly chocolate and cherry gelato. Our first visit to Annabella's was a memorable one, ending with a leisurely stroll by the river, making it a delightful evening.

I finally decided to propose to my girlfriend of 9 years at the river near annabelle's cafe in Bristol, I made a reservation for us there the night before and made sure that they would be able to make our meals with out onions, as my girlfriend is severely nauseated by them. All went well with the romantic proposal and we arrived at the cafe on time. I spent sometime talking to the waitress who was shocked by the fact that we were living together with our child with out being married. As this judgmental bi*ch took our orders, we courteously mentioned again NO ONIONS PLEASE. She brought out our food and made a point to add diced onions to both dishes that weren't even supposed to have them in the first place! She then came back a few moments later to say "are you enjoying the food?" with a smirk. I was so frustrated with her for trying to ruin our evening but determined to not to let it further destroy an otherwise perfect experience. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!! and I would recommend no one else go either, especially if you have a peanut allergy ;)

The food at this Italian restaurant is wonderful-- just like my grandmother's Sunday dinners. The (Italian-American) chef and his wait-staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. It feels like you're walking into a family party when you come to this stpo. And the delicious food is served in a cozy little home located one block from Bristol's Waterfront! After dinner, take a stroll along the Delaware River. I travel from NYC to eat at this restaurant at least twice a year!
