I've been a regular at Apollo's for decades - even though my family lives in South Philly, this is where I come for a delicious cheesesteak. The steaks are always juicy and generous, with rolls that hold up perfectly. I've even called in my order while waiting for my luggage at the airport so I could swing by and grab my favorite sandwich before heading home.

Save yourself the trip!!!
This is the worst restaurant I've ever been in. The food might be okay, but who knows? The service was so terrible we didn't stay long enough to order. Even the manager was grouchy...probably because he realizes how bad this place has gotten. The tables were filthy, and the place is so dark we could barely walk around. We got there on a Saturday and there was only one other poor soul in the restaurant. We quickly realized our mistake and left.
