My son just brought over a hoagie from there. It was amazing and the role was also fantastic. I think it was a Florence was the name of the hoagie but it did have a sharp cheese on it lettuce tomato, and onion and Italian meats coming back for another one.

Hoagies run from 4 - 8 bucks here. The Italian is a steal at 5 something. Their specialty hoagies are a welcome change to your average deli menu. They are a bit too big for 1 meal, but are perfect to share. All of their hoagies are made fresh to order so if you go at lunch rush be prepared to wait 5-15 min for your food. They have lots of dry goods, some are specialty items from Italy you wont find at your local grocery, some are locally produced items. All of the staff are friendly and love to convorsate.

Village pantry is a neighborhood deli. We frequent for lunch meat because it's close and convenient. However, there hoagies are meatless. They put barely any meat in the sandwich and load it with lettuce. The hoagies leave you wishing you ran down the street to the local pizzeria which there are plenty in the area.. If you are looking for a good hoagie then go some place else or you are just waisting your money. Unless you enjoy lettuce sandwiches, in which case, this is the place for you.
