Our family has always enjoyed Stock's Pound Cake Loaf or tiered birthday cake ! Even though Our Mother was a self-taught baker for 50 years, 2 homemade cakes a week, and Her versions of various kinds of " Biscotti ", in surprisingly creative Holidays shapes during the Year !
My brother always purchases a 1 tier cake, as He is addicted to Your icing, WHEN He has never cared for Icing His whole Life, so, Stock's is doing Great !

I lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for almost 50 years and have now lived in florida for the past 20 years. I have never, anywhere found a cake as delicious as stock's bakery pound cake. I would LOVE to order online, but they do not ship. THAT is very unfortunate. I would be a steady customer, and I am sure that many others have moved away and would love to be able to order directly from stock's as well. It could just be plain pound cake, or sell icing on the side with it. It would be worth the cost to me! It could even be shipped already frozen! (The Omaha steaks of the cake world. Lol) I had stocks cake for all of my birthdays, my family's birthdays, and at both of my weddings. Not to mention the quick Sunday morning drive to pick up a simple iced, or United pound cake and cream donut. Miss that :/

this pound cake is to die for - only problem is they dont ship - grandkids from Ga went crazy over it - cant drive to Philly from Jersey anymore - have to wait until a family member drives - if you have never had it you dont know what you are missing - freezes beautifully
