Best fish and chips. Love the Bass sandwich. I've been eating there since they were on 16th street and Roser. I recieved a few free meals for doing ultrasound on the owner's wife and he was having a Boy that was a fun time.
And it's still the best.

Mandys have the best hot wings in town on my side of town in the have old school kool aide also in their fish is real in its the bomb! Im glad we have one in Avondale Now!

This place is why you should not trust the reviews! Stay away unless you want to over pay for food you will throw away. I should have driven to the knocked kneed lobster as opposed to eating at this s__thole in Avondale.
The fries were under cooked when we asked for extra crisp. The fish was chewy not flaky and the seasoning tasted like listerine.
Thank you fake reviews for the worst food I have had since grade school. Oh and to have to pay extra for tarter sauce to give this crap some flavor. My Oh My how do you stay in business.

This has to be by far the worse food I have ever tasted. Catfish was dry and stale tasting. Okara and zucchini was soft and not fried properly. I ask for a rocky road ice cream cone. Lady said, ok and accepted my money. She goes to dip the ice cream. She says, we don't have cones. We have a cup. My main purpose of getting the ice cream was for the cone. I will not be back.
