I eat a lot of Del Taco (3 days a week), usually at a location close to my job. Great food and value. Every so often we drive to this location to grab some tacos and usually regret it.. We like to order an assortment of snack tacos for the family. Last night we were again disappointed with the tacos...in fact we laughed when opening them up. Hardly any meat, some tacos only had a small clump on one side Normal cheese but almost ZERO lettuce. Literally 3 or 4 pieces of lettuce. They were empty. The crunchy tacos were so thin and empty they were flat and broke when you grabbed them for a bite. I fully understand they are value tacos and not that expensive, but these are not even close to what you get at other locations. Hard to blame the employees because consistently inadequate portion sizes are a result of how they are taught and trained. We got a whole lot of tortilla, and it was a joke. A taco needs to be filled to be a taco. Skimping may save you money, but will lose you customers.
