A pure slice of HEAVEN!!!

Coming from Chicago, I was lucky to find the food I loved at Jana's. Love their Polish wedding sausage and Kiszka from Ashland Sausage in Chicago. The pierogies are fabulous and I went crazy for the mushroom pierogies I never tried before. My non-Polish family love the kabanosi and cookies. I could name so many other things we love, but at Jana's, everything is perfect!

Had heard about Jana's but have to rely on others for transportation. My daughter agreed to stop and I ran in for just a moment. Didn't have time to browse, but bought Polonaise Sauerkraut, and from her deli, a pky of Thin (almost tissue thin) of Canadian Bacon. Bother items were absolutely perfect.
Just had my daughter stop by to pick those items again, but she has been closed for about a month. Hope that she is healthy.

Jana's is the real deal Polish and East European bakery, and then some. The high quality baked goods are incredible. All sorts of delicacies, including rye bread strudels, poppyseed and marzipan breads, cookies, tortes and so much more. Also, the imported top notch meat goods are great too, that are regularly flown in from Chicago. I'm originally from Minneapolis and this place reminds me of how Kramarczuk's Deli was in the 1970's. Did I forget to mention that the Easter goodies including babkas and paschas are the best in town?
