Figured that I would give this place a chance on the sunday brunch buffet since it had good reviews. Mistake on my part... Had a reservation for 12:30 and arrived at noon to make sure that all 8 of us could get in. We were told everything was still on for 12:30. After we sat there waiting till 1:35 we started to complain. They finally sat us but again we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server. After the server arrived she didn't bring menus but took our drink order. After waiting another 10 minutes I finally get up and go get menus from the front lobby. Now its almost 2pm and we still haven't ordered. Finally 6 of us go to the buffet line while 2 ordered salads. We get to the line and there are no large plates (ran out), half of the food containers were empty and the other containers were cold. As I approached the waffle and omelet area I was informed that the buffet was closing at 2 (immediately).?.. So 4 of us ate the cold food (what was left anyways) and 2 said heck with it and didn't eat at all. After the 4 of us had finished our food we realized that the salads still have not arrived and our drinks were empty (never saw our server). We finally got the salads after 2:30 and finished up so we could hopefully get out of this mess of an establishment. After much complaining to the manager they gave me $4 off my bill.. Yippy... We finally get out of there at 3 and still cannot believe how bad the experience was. Other than our table of 8 there were only 6 other people so we don't know why the service was so bad. We couldn't get service from the start to the finish.
If I was to tell anyone anything about Caballero's it would be to go somewhere else. The management and servers don't care about the people or the services that we seek. Go somewhere else and save yourself the heartache...
