The food and service at Tru Burger consistently impress me, making every visit enjoyable. The burgers are perfectly cooked, and the zucchini chips are absolutely delicious. I always appreciate the friendly staff, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it a fantastic spot to unwind after a long day.

This was at the location in Phoenix.
My first time here it was a very welcoming experience and I really enjoyed the food.
My second time dining I decided to sit at the bar, the service was whatever, but at the end of my night I left a $10 cash tip, forgot to sign my receipt. Then the next day, I see a charge for an extra tip that I didn't authorize. Then I had to go out of way to drive back up to the store and get my money they stole but the manager dealt with it accordingly, so I let it go.
This third time around, I go in store to order to go burger. I pay. I make sure to sign my receipt. I get home and realize they completely messed up my order. I check my receipt. See the charges for the egg, caramelized onions and avocado but the avocado's the only thing actually on my burger. I ordered the burger medium rare. It comes well done. My uncle makes the call on my behalf because I'm so irritated.
The lady said she'll give us an undisclosed food credit.
I go in today, to order my burger expecting to use the food credit and leave an extra tip but the kid handling my checkout proceeds to suggest I'm a liar in front of his whole front of house staff.
As someone that also works in the food industry. I am very let down by the quality of service I've received the past few visits. It's really embarrassing to defend yourself over some food you just wanted to enjoy and I really can't suggest anybody support such low quality customer service.
It really puts a bad taste in your mouth.
