Growing up with a German great-grandmother whose roots ran deep in traditional cuisine, sausages like Knackwurst and Bratwurst were a constant presence in my childhood. Despite my childhood aversion to these sausages, my adult curiosity led me to embark on a culinary exploration of German flavors at the Edelweiss Deli.
