This restaurant used to be one of my go-tos, but the recent change in bar lighting ruined the cozy vibe and made it feel more like a cafeteria. Nonetheless, the food is still fantastic, the staff is friendly, and I had a memorable evening celebrating with my daughter, despite the drink prices being a bit steep.

The bread was very dry and the olive oil for dipping bread had a funny taste - maybe it was starting to get rancid or was a poor quality oil. The eggplant parmesan was very mushy. The worst I'd ever had. The margherita pizza was good. The wait staff was fantastic. I wish I could give a better review as I was expecting everything to be delicious as the other 2 Il Pizzaiolo restaurants 's I've dined at (downtown and the Mt. Lebanon location).
