Found a charming local diner for a hearty meal recently. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. Opted for the sausage gravy and biscuits dish, which was both satisfying and flavorful. Bob's Diner was the perfect stop before a long drive back to Virginia!

I was visiting my parents in Mt. Lebanon, PA and know that they are always trying to find a place that has good stuffed green peppers. I googled Bob's Diner read that they have stuffed green peppers every Friday. I then stopped by the Castle Shannon location and purchased one order for them to share (as they are very picky on the quality and taste of their foods and didn't know if they would be any good).

I returned to VA and received a call from them that day. They both couldn't wait to call to brag about them and tell me that they tasted as good as my Dad's mothers peppers (who immigrated from Poland around 1900-1930). It's so nice to have found a place that serves the highest authentic tasting stuffed green peppers around. They were delicious, huge, and high quality, and included homemade mashed potatoes with tomato sauce (also superb) along with a side salad or chili. Both of my parents highly recommend Bob's Diner in Castle Shannon, PA., and I can't wait to return and try them myself.
