Love a good BYOB spot. Food was awesome - had the rack of lamb and scallops. Possibly the best escargot I've ever had. Owner was super friendly and Emily's service was on point. So glad we found this spot, looking forward to the patio when it gets warmer.

Lovely experience. The food was amazing and the ambience and staff were lovely. Might be my new favorite place. So happy it's BYOB too!

We all ordered quiche and it came with sliced potatoes. Everything was UNDERCOOKED &
SOGGY. Cheesecake as well. I waitress took our plates without asking was there a problem with our meals. Two of us had only taken 2 bites. The owner never once approached us regarding our lunch. I didn't want to make a big deal but obviously will spread this review. I had heard so many good things only to be very disappointed.

Great good, great service, great decor. Cherry on top is the owner and his sweet dog.

This place is a hidden gem! I sat on the patio for dinner on a fairly busy Friday night in early June with my husband. We shared the pate and vichyssoise (potato & leak soup), served chilled to start. I had the scallops per the delightful waitresses suggestion and he had the halibut. The whole experience was exceptional including the ambiance and decor. We will be back and hope this place sticks around, it's hidden gem.

I have been to France six times so am not unfamiliar with French cuisine. I was also the assistant manager of a very well reviewed French restaurant. I, too, had the orange chicken and thought it was quite nice. I have introduced family and friends to this restaurant - many times for lunch. Love the quiche, Croque Monsieur, and the Tartines. I can't wait to sit outside and have lunch, again.

Bertrand purports to have French food, but that would surprise the French. The menu options use the words of standard French cuisine, such as Coq au Vin, but the result is pure............ well, mystery food. Chicken with orange sauce, was my choice. I expected a piece of meat that had been pan seared, perhaps lightly coated, with a classic orange sauce (sugar carmelized with vinegar; clear, fat free stock; orange segments; orange liqueur or at least orange juice; ideally port). Instead the sauce was fatty with a poorly defined poultry flavor, no orange segments and practically no orange flavor. The meat tasted like it might have been a texturized product. There was a rubbery coating of something. In short: inedible. I tried to eat the vegetables: beets were overly vinegared, spinach had rotted pieces. I had one taste of everything then pushed the plate away. I won't go back here ever.
